First of all you need to check whether your Sky box is connected to your router via Ethernet cable or through wifi network.
If your Sky Box is connected to the router via Ethernet cable, then below steps will help you out with your Sky Tv On Demand issues. Check out the steps mentioned below:
On your Sky Tv remote, press the “services” button. Once you press this button, you will see an “Options” tab highlighted on your Sky Tv screen.
Now using the “down arrow” button on your Sky Tv remote, navigate to the “Sky+ Setup” menu.
On your Sky Tv remote, use the “left/right” arrow button to highlight the “Customize” option. After highlighting this option, press the “Select” button on your Sky Tv remote.
Now use the “down arrow” button situated on your Sky Tv remote to highlight the “Enable on Demand Downloads” option.
Now in this step, you have to reset the “Enable on Demand Downloads” setting. The resetting will help to re establish the “Enable On Demand” service with your Sky box.
After this press the “select” button on your Sky Tv remote and turn the setting to “OFF” using the left or right arrow keys.
To save the settings, you have to press the “green” button on your Sky Tv remote.
Use the “down arrow” key to highlight the “Enable On Demand Downloads” option. After highlighting use the “left or right “ arrow keys to turn “ON” the settings.
Use the “green” button your Sky Tv remote to save the settings.
Now you have to reboot your Sky Tv box and the router. To do this, follow the instructions below:
On your Sky Tv remote, press down the “standby” button.
After that turn “off” your Sky box from the mains.
Inspect whether the power light is “off” on your Sky box, before proceeding to further steps.
Turn “off” your Sky router from the mains.
Ensure whether the power light on your Sky router is “off”.
Make sure that the Ethernet cable is connected between your Sky box and the router.
Now turn “ON” your Sky router from the mains and ensure that the “power” and internet lights are “ON” after the reboot.
Turn “ON” your Sky box at the mains and you will see the “power” light will turn amber while the box is powering up.
Now wait for at least four minutes and after that press the “Sky button” on your Sky Tv remote. Once you see the green light on the “power” button, it means your Sky box is ready to use.
Go to “Catch Up” on your Sky Tv and press the “select” button using your Sky Tv remote.
Select the “Sky Channels” and press the “select” button again.
Use the “left or right arrow” buttons to highlight the programme.
Use the “select” button situated on your Sky remote and then select to download the programme either in high definition or standard definition.
You will see an onscreen message “DOWNLOADING”.
Once you see the message “AVAILABLE” on your Sky tv screen, it means your programme has been downloaded.
If your Sky Tv box is connected through wireless password.
First thing you have to do is check whether there is a “WPS” button on your Sky box or not. If you see a “WPS” button then follow the steps mentioned above from step 1 to 15. And if there is no “WPS” button, then choose the “on demand connector” you have:
