If you want to order “caller display” feature separately, the monthly cost will  depend on whether you have the “calling feature” on its own or you have two or more to create a “calling features pack”. The monthly rates are mentioned below:

  • For “One” Calling Feature, you have to pay £3.95 a month.
  • For “Two to four” Calling Features, the charges are £7.95 a month.
  • For “Five or more” Calling Features , you will be charged £10.60 a month

How to set up BT “Ring Back” feature on my phone?

To set up BT “Ring Back” feature, follow the steps mentioned below:

STEP 1:

Press key “5” on your phone to request a “Ring Back” when you hear an engaged tone.

STEP 2:

You will get a voice confirmation message that “Ring Back” feature has been set.

STEP 3:

Then the network will monitor the busy number for upto 45 minutes until it becomes free.

STEP 4:

Your phone will ring with a special distinctive tone, pick up the handset to get connected.

To cancel a ring back request, you have to press the (#) key on your telephone keypad followed by the number “37” and then press the (#) key again.

To set up BT “reminder call” feature, follow the steps mentioned below:

STEP 1:

Press the star (*) key on your telephone keypad followed by the number “55”.

The required time in 24 hour clock format for example, 9:10am should be entered as 0910.

STEP 4:

Press the hash (#) key.

How to use “3 Way Calling” feature on BT phone?

Follow the below instructions to use “3 Way Calling” feature on BT phone:

STEP 1:

You have to dial the first number and  then press the “recall” button on your BT phone. Wait for the dialling tone.

STEP 2:

Now dial the second number. When the call is answered, press “recall” button.

STEP 3:

Wait for the dialling tone, then press “3” button on the phone.

STEP 4:

If you want to talk to each caller separately, you have to press “2” button instead of “3” when the second call is answered.

STEP 5:

If you want to switch between the callers,  press “recall” button, wait for the dialling tone and press “2”.

STEP 6:

If you want to end the call entirely, hang up the call.

STEP 7:

To end the “first call”only, press “recall” button, wait for the dialling tone and press “5” on the phone keypad.

STEP 8:

To end only the “second call”, press “recall” button, wait for the dialling tone and press “7”.

To use call diversion feature, you have to first order “Call Diversion” feature by calling on BT customer support number. It can take up to 24 hours before you can use this service.

To divert your calls, follow the instructions mentioned below:

  • For diverting all calls, you have to dial: “ *21*(phone number you want to divert to)# “.
  • If you want to divert any calls that you fail to answer within 15 seconds, dial “ *61* (phone number you want to divert to)# “.
  • Dial “*67* (phone number you want to divert to)# “ to divert calls when your phone is engaged.

You will get a confirmation message that the “Call Diversion” feature has been setup successfully.

To switch off Call Diversion feature, follow the instructions mentioned below:

  • If you want to switch off “divert all calls”, dial “#21#” on your BT phone.
  • If you want to switch off a diversion you’ve set up when your phone is “engaged”, dial “#67#” on the phone.
